Mission: The Detroit Parrothead Club is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to assist in community outreach programs and to provide for its members a means of social interaction and meeting people interested in Jimmy Buffett’s music & tropical spirit. An official chapter of Parrotheads in Paradise (PHIP).

The Detroit club was founded by Marlene Buffa in 1992 as the 5th chapter to join the international PHIP organization that is endorsed by Jimmy Buffett. We currently have over 200 fun-loving members of all ages. Our activities range from community service and charity events to big parties, concerts, road trips and everything in between.
