A personal appeal from long time club member and officer, Glen Bob Montagne.
Glen-bob, your member-at-large ... that's me ... will be shaving my head
on St. Patrick's Day for the St. Baldrick's Foundation for childhood
cancer research. As I know most of you have been blessed enough
to have had healthy children. I personally know of no one who has
childhood cancer, but couldn't imagine what a family must go through
knowing your child has something that could take them from you at any time.
You all helped me kick-ass in the Alzhiemers Walk last summer,
and I know you are getting tired of me asking for donations,
so all I'm asking is if everyone I know even give just one dollar,
that would put me over my target. Those wishing to donate,
online is the easiest, the web-site is
Event is being held at The Uptown Grille in Commerce Twp.
More info is available on my donation page.
Thanks to all those who can help, and if you're in the area on St. Patty's Day,
stop by and watch as I go bald again!!! Take care and Have A Phruitful Day!!! Glen-bob.
Just announced, Bubba coming to town on June 22.  Stay tuned for all the pre concert info.

For improved planning of your calendars, the 2010 Board is setting the Monthly events as follows
Monthly Meetings will be the 2nd Thursday of every month unless conflicting with a holiday.
Monthly Cruise/Happy Hour is the LAST FRIDAY of every month, locations to be determined.
Will be giving one of our old watering holes, the Parrot Cove a chance to be our home bar. Come by the next Happy Hour and please give the officers your feedback regarding any permanence or semi permanence to this location. Ideas of course are always welcome.  One thing for sure, the Parrot Cove is ahead of the Michigan laws and is already NO SMOKING.
Special thank you to Mary Brohl who has accepted the position of Secretary and to Andy Sigler who will be our new Highway Clean Up coordinator along with assistance from Dan Paterek.
A grateful thanks goes out to Jim Carlton who was our Highway Cleanup coordinator for many, many years. Great Job Jim and thank you.
Very Happy New Year to all DPHC members and family.
