There are places that instantly captivate, where time seems suspended. Villa Linda, facing the pristine bay of Marigot, is one such place. Here, everything has been carefully thought out to sublimate the enchanting setting, which stretches over 35 meters along the waterfront, and includes a private beach. Designed by architect Nicolas Gessat, this villa, which is currently being finished, revisits West Indian architecture with a contemporary twist. With its timber roofs, wood cladding and warmly-toned stone facades, each element adds character and blends naturally into its surroundings. From the solar-panel-covered 4-space parking lot, a staircase leads down through the garden to the main level, where the omnipresent sea catches the eye. At the threshold, a stunning custom-made wooden door created by local craftsmen, opens onto the living spaces. Inside, the light-filled living room extends under a magnificent, vaulted ceiling. The living room, kitchen, and dining room merge into a flowing, welcoming space whose interior design was imagined by French Indies Design. Natural materials, shades of green and custom designer furniture create an elegant style with clean lines, bringing a touch of South American-inspired escapism. The room opens onto a terrace where the heated infinity pool seems to melt into the turquoise waters of the bay. On the same level, the first suite enjoys the same view of the marine reserve and offers direct access to the pool for a refreshing dip. A few steps further down, an outdoor kitchen and large dining area invite you to share moments together, facing the property¡¯s private beach - a rare privilege that allows you to enjoy it to the full. Above the living areas, the villa offers four additional bedrooms in soothing tones, nestled in two independent bungalows. Each has an en-suite bathroom and enjoys views from their terraces. A gym completes this waterfront tropical paradise.
